These non-flight birds are residents of the Antartic world. The climate in Antartica has three main regions; the interior, the coastal areas, and the Antartic Peninsula. You're not going to believe this but in the Antartic it is dark 24 hours a day for 4 months. During that time the female penguin rolls the baby egg to the father penguin to keep warm. In the winter the wind blows rapidly. Down there it is very cold so there are no living tulips. Finally, after the long nights, the mother penguin finishes her fishing trip and the father penguin goes off and the cycle starts all over again.
